What is Real?

It is only the observer’s awareness of the event that brings reality. But what if you are not aware of that same event? Does it actually exist? Quantum theory can only be expressed in mathematical terms and describes matter as an abstraction. In this sense, matter does not inhabit a specific space or time; it is prevalent throughout the Universe and in a constant discontinuous, spontaneous, and unpredictable movement in the Universe. Elementary particles do not obey predetermined laws, so for those who observe them in this initial state, they appear to be the consequence of a chaotic situation.

First, Minkowski and later his student Einstein proposes the fields or planes of inertial reference. Suppose a tourist in Karol Bagh, Delhi, asks where building number 8 is located on Ghaffar Market. It will be straightforward for an Indian domiciled in that area to explain, either topologically or mathematically, what the tourist must do to get to that exact address. However, no one will ask for the same address if it is thousands of kilometers high. In any case, it will ask where India is.

That is, the facts react to certain inertial reference planes. Relativity arises from this, which, in any case, responds to the reference associated with the observer himself. It is the world of certainties, where movement is natural because we control it by the space travelled by the type of speed, time, and energy used.

Quantum reality theory

According to the form of speed, time, and energy used, quantum realities are potential states. But, for quantum theory, except for those that come from a given precise moment, no reference planes can exist. It is the world of the unpredictable, where everything flows, where particles appear and disappear, their movements are discontinuous and rotate endlessly in all directions, sometimes as such particles and sometimes as wave functions.

In the Universe of particles that circulate without temporal order, space and time are diffused, diluted in fields of wave magnitudes in their own random space, and they become more complicated often, enabling materialization, and at other times reversing the course weather. Naturally, it is more straightforward for an observer to operate in the world of classical physics; he could not do it in the quantum world since this observer needs facts that are understandable, not from the chronology.

However, fermions, and mainly electrons, yes. It is the so-called temporal reversibility event, in which events occur in such a way that they allow to take any direction in space and time. This is why the observer influences the creation of matter; it is he who brings awareness to reality. This allows the wave-particle, body-consciousness, and mind-reality dualities, all of which are inseparable from existence. It is the observer who creates the reality of the present moment. If this moment is not observed, it can be generalized, saying that it will spread, becoming extinct in time.

Therefore, it is only the observer’s awareness of the event that brings reality. But what if you are not aware of that same event? Does it actually exist? The elementary particles appear to be seemingly distant in space-time, but in reality, in an underlying domain, the implicit quantum domain, allows them to be linked together. This domain acts like the interference pattern of a hologram, according to Bohr. There is no space in the implicit field of frequencies, no distances, and therefore, as Pribiam says: “separateness is an illusion built in our brain.” Schrödinger’s “who killed the cat” problem is well known.

Alive and dead at the same time, in two probable states, overlapping and interposed.

Only the gaze of the observer can determine the final outcome. Quantum reality is different depending on whether it is perceived or not, whether it is observed or not. Electrons that before the observer’s perceptions were undefined and unpredictable particles or waves are transformed due to that same observation, into particles and waves of a formal nature, through invisible photons that respond to the observer’s call as a result of their experiment. The cat will live or die, specifying one of the two overlapping latencies at the time of observation.


Depending on the moment of observation, Schrödinger will caress or bury him. From here, a significant problem arises. What virtual power does the observer have over the creation of reality? Knowledge of the elements surrounding us seems to be the link between the quantum world and common reality. That is, the observer’s consciousness is what makes the observed come true.

For this reason, Prigogine says: “Reality is revealed to us only through an active construction in which we participate.”

As defined above, science does not respond to these characteristics, falling short in its objectives, since its field of action does not contemplate consciousness.

“In the space-time dimension, everything that constitutes the past, the present and the future for each one of us, occurs in a block … Each observer, as his time passes, discovers new portions of space-time that they appear before him as successive aspects of the material world, although in reality, the set of events that constitute space-time exists with priority to his knowledge of them ” 

The reduction of probability and its conversion into reality is associated with the activity and “attitude” of the bosons, which is why they can be considered as the primary antecedents of consciousness (Martínez de la Fe, 1991). 

Consciousness in a dormant state is matter; consciousness in a completely developed state is spirit. Matter is the symbol of undeveloped consciousness”, as Einstein said.

Consciousness springs from a ratio of coherently ordered virtual photons in the brain’s quantum system. Thus, the observer becomes the mirror of reality, which his consciousness must know and assumes duality: wave-particle, body-consciousness, mind-reality, different aspects but all of them integrated into existence. From quantum physics, it can be said that reality is nothing more than a hologram made up of ordered elementary particles in our brain. In this way, quantum man becomes the great paradox of quantum particle physics.
